About Course
Level 2 builds on foundational construction skills and introduces students to intermediate framing, structural layout, and finishing techniques. This course emphasizes precision measurement, blueprint interpretation, load-bearing principles, stair and roof framing basics, and advanced tool operation. Students strengthen their understanding of building codes, job-site safety, material estimation, and project planning while completing hands-on carpentry projects.
Learners develop the ability to work independently or as part of a crew on residential or light commercial construction tasks. Instruction includes advanced cutting techniques, fastening systems, structural reinforcement, and professional craftsmanship standards.
